A blend of the finest China and Assam teas, result in the typical smoky aroma and flavour. This historic tea is made from a traditional blend of Lapsang Souchong, Assam and Oolong teas. Russian Caravan tea originally traded in the 18th century during the reign of Catherine the Great, carried by camel caravan via the Russian steppes, along the Silk Road to Moscow, hence giving the name Russian Caravan to this tea. Historically, Russian Caravan was the most important drink after vodka in Russia. This tea is dark, has a hint of malt, has a full-bodied deep flavour and smoky heady aroma.
