The following health benefits may accompany consumption of this tea

Green Country tea is like a health tonic in a many ways. The health benefits of Sencha are derived from its high concentrations of antioxidants and beneficial polyphenols, both of which help neutralize harmful free radicals thought to contribute to the development of cancer, cardio vascular disease and the aging process. Green tea has also been shown to lower cholesterol and raise good HDL and to help in blood sugar control and so may help prevent the onset of type 1 diabetes. Green tea can produce feelings of relaxation, pleasure and promote feelings of calm and psychological well being. Lemongrass and rosehip also offer health benefits (refer to the benefits listed under those individual teas). The fruit in Green Country tea offers similar benefits to the other fruit teas ; by having a high source of vitamin C, strengthening the immune system, helps fight arthritis and other types of inflammations and also helps to lower bad cholesterol levels. Hibiscus offers benefits to cardiovascular and respiratory health, it reduces blood pressure and controls cholesterol levels. Hibiscus also good for weight control, as it contains an enzyme inhibitor which lowers the production of Amylase, which breaks down carbohydrates and starches, thus reducing the amount of carbohydrates absorbed. This tea also contains flavonoids, which are antioxidants that help fight the oxidation process that cause damage to healthy cells, which could become cancerous. The polyphenols in this tea also stimulate the digestive system while deterring the growth of stomach cancers.
